About Us
The Amigo Travel Club is dedicated to reducing the costs associated with travelling and sending money to Cuba.
From our offices in St. John's, Antigua, we provide our Members with unique financial products and services which make it less expensive to convert their money to local currency.
Since 1998, our Members have used their Cards to avoid the 10% cash penalty to exchange US paper currency for CUC.
In addition to the savings, our Members enjoy the peace of mind which comes from knowing their money is safe.
It's well-known in Cuba that American credit cards don't work there. That's why our Cards don't attract thieves.
Even if one of our Cards is lost or stolen, it's useless without it's 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). Members simply cancel their Card and request a replacement.
We're confident in the bank which issues our Cards because it's a large, publicly traded, multinational corporation which has been in business for years. Because it's based in a country with normal diplomatic relations with Cuba, our Cards are accepted there.
Most importantly, our bank is a member of a well-known international card association which operates a world-wide network of ATMs and merchant Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals. That's why our Cards are accepted everywhere.
